NEW RECORDING 'PALE VIEWS' RELEASED

Lin's new recording 'Pale Views' for alto flute, composed by Basil Athanasiadis is now released by Metier (Divine Art Records) within the CD album 'Soft Light'.
The music has four movement, was composed in 2003, and inspired by Kazuo Ishiguro's novel 'A Pale View of Hills'. It oscillates between tonality and chromaticism portraying the contrasting states of present and past, kindness and cruelty, tranquility and disturbance featured throughout the novel.
